WhatCostsHome is a read-only cost guide. We don't run accounts, we don't sell products or leads, and we don't sell personal information. The site is funded by advertising. Below is exactly what that involves.

Information we collect

• Contact form: if you write to us, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We don't add you to a marketing list.
• Usage data: standard server and analytics logs (pages visited, approximate region, device type) used to understand which guides are useful and to keep the site fast and secure.
• Calculators: our cost calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are never transmitted to us.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
